No Life. No Liberty. Only Pursuit.

Happiness cannot be a science.
Science is the cutting up of things.

Cut up something that is alive to die.
To see the structure of things dying.

Cut up some things out of their lives.
To see the structure of things dead.

Happiness is about life never death.
Yet they cut up life to find happiness.

Wonderful symmetry of verse and ideas. Your words bring to mind greyhound track racing where the dogs eternally chase the mechanical rabbit. Great poem, NBP.

I don’t know if happiness is about life or not, but really appreciate the motion in this piece. I could go on, but no one would read it.

Thanks, Jeff. Eternal pursuit of their death. Birth.

Thanks HLJ. I am sad to read that no one will read your words.
